Automatic meteorological stations (AMS) have been installed at the airports in the south of Kyrgyzstan, Batken, Razakov, Zhalalabad and Kerben. They are equipped with sensors for measuring air temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind direction and speed. AMS will provide more accurate and timely data on meteorological weather conditions at these aerodromes, which will greatly improve the quality of forecasting and service to aviation users. The reliable operation of the AMS without interruption will be essential in the accumulation of data for the formation of detailed climate descriptions of these airports.
